The true pressure-fit design requires no tools for standard installation, making it a convenient option for doorways and openings around the home. The gate opens in both directions for easy everyday access and can be extended with additional BabyDan extension bars to accommodate wider spaces.

Extensions

The gate can be used with up to 6 extension bars. If more than two extensions are fitted, wall cups must be securely fixed to the wall to support the pressure pads.
Installation
For standard installations, the gate uses pressure to remain securely in position, avoiding the need to drill into the wall or door frame.
Wall cups are not normally required unless:
- The correct pressure cannot be achieved for a safe installation, or
- More than two extension bars are being used.
Always follow the supplied BabyDan installation instructions to ensure the gate is fitted correctly and securely.
Important Safety Information
This gate features a crossbar at floor level, which can present a trip hazard. Particular care should be taken when choosing its position, especially around stairs, steps or other changes in floor level.
