What Is Breathe Eze Padding and Wadding?

All Breathe Eze padding and wadding is made using thermally bonded polyester fibre. This process creates a firm yet elastic sleep surface that supports your baby while remaining breathable and hygienic.

  • Non toxic, non harmful and low VOC

  • Large fibre size prevents airborne fibre inhalation

  • Breathable, dust mite resistant and anti microbial

  • Inherently flame retardant with no added fire retardants or formaldehyde

  • No binders, adhesives or blowing agents

Thermal bonding uses fewer chemicals than traditional bonding methods, reducing your baby’s exposure to harsh substances.

Why We Do Not Use Coir or Coconut Husks

While often marketed as natural, coir mattresses present several concerns for infant sleep:

  1. Hygiene Issues
    Coir can retain moisture, dust and allergens, encouraging mould, fungus, insects and odour, especially in humid climates.

  2. Lack of Support
    Uneven packing can create an inconsistent sleep surface that is not suitable for a growing baby.

  3. Poor Durability
    Coir compresses easily and cannot be reshaped after washing, leading to uneven support.

  4. Low Quality Fill
    Often used as a cheap waste by product rather than for safety or performance.
